He was written off. He was told he would not graduate middle school. Then high school. Then college. In his first year of college he earned a 0.5 GPA.
Then something shifted.
He stopped letting other people’s words define his direction. He took ownership of how he thought about himself and what he believed was possible. That one internal shift changed everything. He graduated college with a 3.1 GPA.
That experience is why The Mind Is Powerful exists. And he walks into every room with one unshakeable belief that any youth, no matter where they started, has the capacity to lead themselves forward.

A 75-minute, in-person youth leadership program focused on self-leadership for youth ages 12–18. Designed to equip youth with the mindset and belief to make better decisions, take ownership of their actions, and build accountability in how they show up.

Each monthly delivery includes a focused 10-minute preview from the Discover Your Inner Leader curriculum, delivered across three consecutive months, creating one connected experience from start to finish.

The Closing Reflection
Youth complete Discover Your Inner Circle, a guided 15-minute closing reflection. Key takeaways are revisited, mindset shifts are acknowledged, and the final impact report is completed.
Growth Mindset
This program shifts how youth talk to themselves and builds the belief that their thoughts shape who they become. Growth is possible no matter where they started.
Emotional Resilience
This program addresses the root of negative self-talk and peer pressure, teaching youth to challenge limiting beliefs and lead themselves through difficulty.
Effective Decision-Making
This program builds self-accountability and equips youth to use their values as an anchor, making confident decisions and taking responsibility for how they show up.
